Key Responsibilities

1. Support senior management in strategic planning exercises, policy document development, and new programme design processes contributing M&E and results frameworks from the earliest stage of programme conceptualization
2. Lead preparation of annual workplans, UN Women Strategic Notes, and biennial support plans ensuring all planning documents reflect realistic targets grounded in field evidence and organizational capacity
3. Develop and manage Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks across all active UN Women Pakistan programmes, setting clear indicators, baselines, and targets aligned with international M&E standards
4. Design and implement field monitoring plans and coordinate regular data collection across all programme units, standardizing reporting formats and quality-checking submitted data before it enters formal reporting systems
5. Draft high-quality narrative and financial donor reports on schedule, translating complex programme data into clear, compelling accounts of results achieved for diverse donor audiences including bilateral donors and UN agencies
6. Conduct quarterly monitoring visits to partner organizations, documenting implementation quality, assessing compliance with agreed workplans, and identifying technical support needs that UN Women can address
7. Prepare economic analyses and evidence-based assessments to support Gender Inclusive Financing initiatives within the broader programme portfolio
8. Contribute to mid-term reviews, final evaluations, and corporate reporting requirements including UN Women global reporting processes and Pakistan-level UNSDCF contributions
9. Build the M&E and results-based reporting capacity of UN Women Pakistan staff and implementing partners through training sessions,coaching, and the development of user-friendly reporting tools and guidance

Required Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Gender Studies, International Development, Project Management, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized or internationally recognized institution is required. HEC attestation is mandatory for all degrees submitted for UN positions candidates with foreign degrees must additionally provide an HEC equivalence letter or verified university documentation.
• A minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional experience specifically in programme planning, monitoring, evaluation, and results-based reporting is required.
