Job Description:
UN Women Pakistan is hiring a Planning, Monitoring & Reporting Coordinator for their Islamabad office. This is a national position at NPSA-9 level, open for professionals with solid experience in programme planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting within the development sector.

What This Role Involves
Reporting to the Deputy Representative, you will manage planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting functions across UN Women Pakistan’s active programmes. You will also support Gender Inclusive Financing (GIF) work and contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) for Pakistan.
This position gives experienced M&E professionals meaningful exposure to UN-level programme management, policy processes, and international donor reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior management in strategic planning, policy documents, and programme design
- Lead preparation of annual workplans, Strategic Notes, and biennial plans
- Develop and manage Results-Based Monitoring & Evaluation frameworks and field monitoring plans
- Coordinate data collection and standardize reporting across all programme units
- Draft high-quality narrative and financial donor reports on time
- Conduct quarterly monitoring visits to partner organizations
- Prepare economic analyses to support Gender Inclusive Financing (GIF) initiatives
- Contribute to mid-term reviews, final evaluations, and corporate reporting requirements
- Build capacity of staff and partners on RBM, M&E, and results-based reporting
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Gender Studies, International Development, Project Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in programme planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting
- Strong practical knowledge of Results-Based Management (RBM) systems
- Excellent analytical skills and English report-writing ability
- Fluency in both English and Urdu is required
- Prior experience with the UN system or large development organizations is an advantage
- Knowledge of gender inclusive financing is a plus
