Role Overview
As Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the elderly care project in Karachi. This includes leading a field team, tracking project progress, ensuring donor compliance, and keeping all activities on schedule. Occasional travel to project sites within Karachi and other parts of Pakistan will also be part of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise field team and manage their daily project tasks
- Track milestones and ensure timely delivery of all outputs
- Conduct regular compliance monitoring visits to project sites
- Prepare progress reports, success stories and activity summaries
- Collect and analyze project data — both quantitative and qualitative
- Attend review meetings and follow up on action points
- Coordinate with other departments to support smooth field operations
- Ensure all activities comply with donor guidelines and organizational policies
- Maintain strong linkages between elderly care and other health programmes
- Travel to field locations within Karachi and across Pakistan when required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Management Sciences or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in field-based health or community programmes
- Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities
- Prior experience with community health initiatives is an advantage
- Good English writing skills for reports and official documentation
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently
